Model, Lara Bingle is arranging to sell her extravagant Darling Point one-bedroom apartment.

The 26-year old originally purchased the property for $825,000 in 2010 shortly after breaking up from former fiancé Michael Clarke.

It’s assumed that Bingle has put her Sydney based property up for sale in order to spend more time in New York with current partner, actor Sam Worthington. However, that’s not the only reason why Bingle has her heart set on moving. It’s revealed that the model wishes to keep out of the public eye.

“Sydney is my home, but I don’t like it,” she told a photographer.

“I can’t even go to the supermarket without getting papped (snapped by paparazzi). I don’t like the attention.”

The miniature property (65sqm) is situated right at the heart of the harbour in Sydney’s art deco apartment complex. Every inch of the apartment including from the remarkable stone-clad balcony, offers both spectacular city and harbour views.

High profile interior designer, Blainey North (Melbourne’s Crown Towers) was the man behind the apartment’s inner features. Featuring, American oak parquetry floors, silk wall panels and well-appointed Calcutta marble finishes this petite apartment certainly presents stylish characteristics.

Although RP Data put a current medium price on Darling Point at over $1 million, Bingle is not looking to profit. The lavish apartment will be put on the market by agent Richard Bonouvrie of McGrath Estate on Saturday June 14^th. 

It’s a lot smaller than the apartment that featured on Bingles reality TV show Being Lara Bingle, and rumours circulate that with a budget of $3 million she is on the hunt for something much pricier.
