Wallan is a quiet town set against the Great Dividing Range. It is located on the Northern Highway and as a result, acts as a link between the city and rural Victorian towns like Kilmore and Seymour. Commuters can drive to the inner city in less than 50 minutes on the Hume Freeway, and from Wallan Station, V/Line trains travel on the Seymour and Shepparton lines direct to Southern Cross Station.
