Queenscliff is a small beachside town on the Bellarine Peninsula. Once a playground for wealthy Melbourne holidaymakers, it remains riddled with fisherman's cottages and Victorian-era houses. Residents are drawn to the area's pristine beaches, and cultural events such as the Queenscliff Seafood Feast, a culinary festival held annually on Good Friday, and the Queenscliff Music Festival, a popular music festival held on the last weekend of November.

Along Hesse Street, you will find charming cafes, cake shops, surf shops and art galleries. St Aloysius Primary School and Queenscliff Primary School cater to primary school-aged children in the area, while Bellarine Secondary College in Drysdale is the closest high school. A short drive along the Bellarine Highway will bring you to Point Lonsdale, the entrance to Port Phillip Bay. Geelong is a half an hour away, while the wonders of Great Ocean Road are close at hand.

The Queenscliff Sorrento Car and Passenger Ferry makes hourly crossings between Sorrento and Queenscliff. Passengers often have the chance to spot dolphins on the journey. Cycling is also a very popular pastime along the Bellarine Rail Trail.
