It is largely occupied by Cape Woolamai State Faunal Reserve, a protected area comprised of sheltered bays, stunning surf beaches and rugged walking tracks. From the summit, visitors have an incredible view of the Pinnacles & an unusual offshore rock formation.

Phillip Island Airport borders the area. Helicopter charters take about thirty minutes to travel here from Melbourne.
